The Freedom of
Information (FOI) Act 2000 makes public
bodies' information more accessible and allows people to
request a wide variety of material. The Information Commissioner's website
gives more details on the FOI Act.
Here, we explain how you can make an

Complaints and Feedback
We try to be as open as possible and provide you with the
information you have requested but there will be occasions
when we will withhold information because it is exempt under
the FOI Act.
If you would like us to review our decision to withhold the
information, you can ask for an internal review of our decision. A
member of staff who was not involved in the original request will
undertake the review and will inform you in writing of the
outcome.
If you are unhappy with the outcome of an internal review and
believe that we have not complied with our obligations under the
FOI Act, you can complain to the Information Commissioner. Further
details are available on the Information
Commissioner website.
