Visitors can have a go on the Olympic standard synthetic pitch

Visitors to Bisham Abbey National Sport Centre in Marlow can try lots of different sports for free at an Open Day to be held on Sunday 21 October. Taster sessions for juniors and adults will be available from 10am to 4pm, as well as the opportunity to try out Bisham Gym or take part in a free workout class.

Free taster sessions in hockey will allow visitors to have a go on the Olympic standard synthetic pitch used by the England Hockey Team. Other sessions in tennis, sailing, golf, football and squash will also allow visitors to discover what suits them, as well as how to join a regular league or club whatever their age.

Bisham Abbey National Sport Centre has a reputation as the home of elite sport, with Team GB sportsmen and women who train at the Centre achieving 13 medals at the London 2012 Olympics. However, the Centre is also open to the public and offers a wide range of excellent facilities that visitors can tour during the Open Day. Existing members can bring a friend for free to try out the gym and taster workout classes in spinning and kettle balls will be available on a first come first served basis.
