Biography

I was running from 6 years old through to secondary school, but joined a club, The London Athletics Club when I was 15 years old. I made my international debut in 1999 at the age of 21.

My events are the 60m and 100m sprints.

Who was your biggest influence?

My major influences in life are people who are able to get over the most difficult of circumstances, and become champions.

What is your proudest moment?

My best moment is when I stood in front of a packed stadium and produced the fastest 100m time of my life. I felt everything for that moment in time was right. The achievement I am most proud of is winning the Bergen Cup In Norway.

What is your tip for young people wanting to take part in sport?

Never give up on your dreams.

What is your favourite food?

Rice, chicken and salad.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

A conqueror is like a cannonball he cannot stop on his own accord. He must go on until he runs down or hits something.
