Business Rates

As part of the government’s revaluation process of business rates, in April 2010 the amount that business premises have to pay for their rateable value is set to change. As it currently stands this could have a serious effect for sports clubs and facilities, who could be asked to pay greater rates for their premises. Sport England is currently working with the DCMS and sports clubs to develop possible solutions and will keep Sports Policy News up to date with any developments.
