Conservative Planning Policy

The Conservatives have published their policy on planning, which outlines various changes to the planning system that could affect sport. Of particular note are plans to replace the proposed Community Infrastructure Levy regulations with a tier system, which is similar to what currently is in place now.  This means that sports facilities could be better protected from having to pay a levy. Planning guidance will also be reviewed, which may have an impact on PPG17.
